Among all the water sports, the whitewater rafting is the most famous activity in Utah. Four river rafting zones steal the show among all the river rafting zones in Utah. Those four rivers are River Green, River Yampa, River San Juan, and River Colorado.

The river main rafting zones of River Green are centered on Lodore Canyon and Desolation Canyon. The rafting difficulty of these regions lies between level-I to level-III. This area measured to be about 80 feet of depth. The famous rapids of this area are Butt Dam Falls, Ely Creek, Triplet and Hell's Half-Mile. The Yampa River rafting zone is centered in Dinosaur Nation Monument. This area in about 50-Miles long and the rafting difficulty of this area seems to be Class-II to Class-IV. The San Juan River rafting zone is famous mainly among the beginners and the intermediate rafters due its low rafting difficulty of Class-II or Class-III. The famous rafting places of this zone are Hikes up John's, Slickhorn and Grand Gulch. Even the bless of the Colorado river is also rained to Utah. The rafting difficulty of this area lies between Class-II to Class-V. This rafting zone was built with Westwater Canyon and Cataract Canyon as center. The most famous rapid of this area is the Skull Rapid.
