Black River Rafting, Hudson River Rafting

Loads of rivers are flowing through the city of New York, USA. Some of them provide the facilities of whitewater rafting. But three river rafting zones in New York are very much famous among the rafters. Names of them are Black River Rafting Zone, Hudson River rafting zone, Moose River Rafting zone.

The Black River rafting zones offers at least something for each and every rafter. The rafting difficulty of this zone lies between Class-I to Class-V. This area is of 100-feet depth at the rainy season. The rafting difficulty here varies time to time due to the change of water flow level. The most famous rapid of this zone is the Black River Gorge. The River Hudson rafting zone seems to be the most popular rafting area in New York due its location near the metropolitan cities. This area is of rafting difficulty level III to V. The most famous rapids in this area are Narrows, Greyhound Bus Stop and Givneys. The ideal time to raft here is the months of April to October. Moorse River Rafting zone seems to be the clone of Black River Rafting zone since the difficulty level of this area lies between Class-I to Class-V. This area is divided in two sub regions. The Upper Moorse is of rafting difficulty I to III. The rafting difficulty of Lower Moorse lies between Class IV and V.

It is easier for you to visit all the rafting zones of New York since all of them locate very near to each other.
