There are three famous rafting zones locate which are Yukon River Rafting zone, Denali River Rafting zone and Wrangle St. Elias National Park River Rafting Zone.
The Yukon River rafting zone is basically consists of two river rafting zones viz. Alsek River Rafting Zone and Tatshenshini River Rafting zone. These rafting zones are difficulty level II to V. The ideal time to raft here is the months between June and September. The Denali River Rafting zone is also known as Nenana River rafting zone. The rafting difficulty level here usually lies between Class-III to Class-V. The most famous rapids of this area are Roostertail and Boxcar's wide turn. The rapid water flow of this area is always being the challenge for whitewater rafters. Wrangell St. Elias National Park Rafting zone is the most famous rafting zone of Alaska. This rafting zones in divided into two rafting sub regions. First one is 287-Miles long Copper River rafting zone. This area is for beginner rafters. Again, another one the Six Mile Creek rafting zone is especially for the rafters of advanced skills. Generally, one day rafting trips are available in Six Mile Creek.
